Advice

On 1 May 2024 the Federal Chancellery took over the Directorate General "Digitalisation and E-Government", which was previously located in the Federal Ministry of Finance.

The Legal Basis for the change of responsibilities is "Amended Ministerial Law (in German: Bundesministeriengesetz) 1986", amended Act "Bundesministeriengesetz-Novelle 2024", BGBl. I Nr. 44/2024.
