On 18 July 2022 the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs was dissolved.
The digital/e-government agendas, previously belonging to the Federal Minister for Digital and Economic Affairs, was taken over by the Federal Ministry of Finance.
The economic agendas, previously belonging to the Federal Minister for Digital and Economic Affairs, was taken over by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy.
The tourism agendas, previously belonging to the Federal Minister for Agriculture, Regions and Tourism, was taken over by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy.
On 1 May 2024 the digital/e-government agenda, previously belonging to the Federal Minister of Finance, was taken over by the Federal Chancellery.
