Administrative Library FAQ
- The Administrative Library is open to the public during its standard opening hours.
- Private individuals are not entitled to borrow from the library. However, they are permitted to make use of the library's collections upon presentation of an official photo ID.
- Federal staff is entitled to borrow items from the library, as are employees of public bodies and institutions.
- The standard loan period is 4 weeks. This period can be extended for a further 4 weeks provided that the item in question has not been otherwise reserved. If you wish to extend the loan beyond this maximum of 8 weeks, you must do so in person, and bring the borrowed item into the library for renewal.
- In certain cases, loan periods may be shortened and borrowed works recalled prior to the expiry of the loan period.
The Administrative Library provides 8 workstations in the reading room. These workstations are publicly available to be used.
The following charges apply for copying and scanning:
Black-and-white copying
- A4 copy: 15 cent
- A3 copy: 30 cent
Colour copying
- A4 copy: 1 euro
- A3 copy: 2 euro
Additional fees for printing scanned documents
- Black-and-white A4/A3: 1.50 euro per sheet
- Colour A4/A3: 2 euro per sheet
Scans are delivered by email or as downloadable files.
The library is open to the public: Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
