Funding of political parties and party academies – legal basis; GRECO – implementation and evaluation reports

The current legal basis explains which conditions must be met in order to apply for party or party academy funding. Focusing on a transparency perspective, the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) scrutinized the party funding situation in a number of countries. The results relating to Austria are presented in an evaluation report and an implementation report.
